History of Turbat

Turbat is a city of Balochistan province in Pakistan. This city is in district Makran.Actually, Turbat means grave or graviyard. Before this name it had the name Ganjabad which means "The place where noble people live or the place which is arragated". This place was very much beautiful for its arrigation. As the people in this territory are too much peaceful and sober, due to thier soberness many groups started to live in Ganjabad, they were those people who were robbers, terrorists and killed people on the basis of business. They had robbed things from Iranians and came here for settlement, even they had killed Iranian soldiers.
It was the time when Balochistan was a state, this place (means Asia) was known as Sub-continent. As the people of Ganjabad were sober so they could not speak any single word in front of them till today this habbit exists among these people, it is not only soberness but they guess that they do not have any relation with the difficulties or social problems like if somebody capture lands they do not say anything. Many people had thier own relatives amongest the robbers and terrorists. So, Iranian government was compel to finish its enemy, then Iran invadded Ganjabad. It was completely sized and they had shooted whatever they had seen.
However, this invassion caused fallen dead bodies everywhere so it was called
Turbat (graviyard). There is another name Kech means "nothing" as there were nothing than dead bodies this place was named as Turbat or Kech.
